Sunday, May 16 - Committee Day Potluck Luncheon

Sunday, May 16 will be our Committee Day Potluck Luncheon after the worship service. On this day, we will showcase all of the committees within the church and look for those who are interested in volunteering to sign up to help on the committees.

In order for our church to move forward, we need many volunteers. Committee Day is an opportunity for fellowship and also an opportunity for our members to get more involved in our church. Please review the committees listed in this newsletter. Each committee chairperson will be available on Committee Day to answer any questions you may have.

Saturday, June 5 - Strawberry Festival/Savage Fest

The annual Strawberry Festival will be held on Saturday, June 5th, in conjunction with Savage Fest. Volunteers are needed leading up to the event for preparations. Volunteers will also be needed the day of the event for setup, food service, and event cleanup.

Sunday, June 6 - End of Year Junior Youth Group Picnic (F&MC)

The end of year Junior Youth Group picnic will be held on Sunday, June 6th, from 3 to 6 p.m. Please bring a dish.

Saturday, July 4 - Time Change for Sunday Worship Service

Per agreements made when the cooperative parish was formed last year, Savage and Community churches will swap the early and late service times. Beginning with the July 4th service and continuing through June 2011, UMC Savage Worship service with change from 10:30 a.m. to 9:15 a.m. All other Sunday morning events will shift accordingly. See the Worship Service page for the new times.
